Project managed several large VoIP service rollouts for 5 major corporations domestically, with international

Contract Senior Consultant Project Manager
Supported a federal mandate issued to Verizon to push outside of its franchised footprint with experience in the
unregulated world of telecommunication services. Provided engineering support in the final acquisition of fiber assets
located outside of Verizon’s franchise footprint with input on the business plan, identifying key revenue opportunities,
risk assessments, optical deployment strategies, and identifying potential capital and expense cost reduction opportunities.
Conducted weekly briefings providing ongoing status reports using various soft tools, PMI protocol and including
questions on conference calls from external location stakeholders ensuring complete involvement.
§ Conducted negotiations between Verizon and a third party for the purchased of empty conduit for the purpose of

communications links. I.C.G. was formed as a Interstate Exchange Carrier offering transport and tier services such as
DS1, DS3 DS0, and optical transport (OC3, OC12, OC48) and later became a registered Competitive Local Exchange
Carrier after deregulation of the telecommunication industry.
Installation Manager-OSP Manager-Program Manager
Promoted to Installation Manager and reported to the regional President, collaborating closely with various sales,
engineering, and network operation departments, coordinating the timely and on-budget installation of optical transport
equipment to deliver services. Managed and mentored over 40 in-house technicians and project managed 25 contractors,
acted as pivot point of reference for internal and external customers.
§ Implemented the first of several revisions of Installation Practices, as a means to reduce rework during the
installation of common and uncommon equipment configurations.
